Magicka is a fun little Steam game that we have been playing recently. It is a top down view, spell casting RPG with four person coop multiplayer story mode as well as versus and challenge mode. In the game you have 8 elements (water, life, shield, ice, lightning, arcane, earth, and fire) and using the elements in different combinations produce different magic attacks or defensive effects (combine up to 5 elements, can be repeats). You can also learn spells (such as haste) by picking up spell books in the game. This gives you an alternate option when you combine the spell recipes elements together to create a spell effect. But watch out! You can damage your allies and heal enemies with your spellS! This lends an extra manic as well as HILARIOUS element to the game. Check out this replay!
